Key details about the role and the candidate

Reporting to the UKNS/RDS Financial Controller, the Assistant Finance Manager is responsible for the supervision and running of the UKNS Finance Team and support of Kenera T&E.

You and the role

Duties include budgets, forecasting, cashflow, variance analysis and reporting, while also supervising the relevant teams.  This involves working with other functions, including operations, commercial, legal, HR, SCM as well as external stakeholders such as customers and auditors for UKNS.

Primary responsibilities

  • Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with the Finance World Wide Standard and other procedures
  • Manage a Team of 5 direct reports
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, review and explain variances for various North Sea operations
  • Analyse and control Balance Sheet reconciliation process
  • Preparation and input of journal entries as required
  • Review sales invoices for various North Sea Clients
  • Assist in preparation of annual budget and regular forecasts for the UK operations.

 Experience

  • Experience working in a fast paced finance team
  • Comfortable dealing with varying levels and functions within the KCAD organisation

 Qualifications

  • Working towards accounting qualification
